PP Ray Hatton accompanied Jayne Bennett, from St John Talbot's High School and her mum, to Stafford where Jayne was our contestant in the Young Chef of the Year competition.
Despite having a faulty oven and having to move partway through the cooking process to a different one, Jayne triumphed and will now go through to the next round which will be held in later in the year in Birmingham.
Our congratulations go to Jayne for a skilled performance delivered under pressure.
At a recent District meeting Whitchurch Rotary
was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for donations made to Polio Plus.
The amount raised by PP David Williams on his walk around Anglesey for this fund was no doubt instrumental in the Club being so recognised.
Two new Honorary Members

The Rotary Club of Whitchurch was proud to present Rotary pins to two Honorary Members at a recent meeting, Anna Turner (The High Sheriff
of Shropshire) and Derek Harrison (Long time supporter of the Clubs annual concert). The pins were presented by President Peter Howe.
