Canal Boat Trip for the Disabled & Handicapped
Two canal boats from the Lyneal Trust were crewed by rorarians and travelled from Lyneal to Chirk on day one and back to Lyneal on day two. The weather was good and everyone enjoyed their trip.
December
The Father Christmas Float will be on the road again
It will visit most of the streets in Whitchurch and the surrounding villages. Rotarians will be out in force to make collections.

Whitchurch Hospital & Bradbury Day Centre
Sherry will be provided for the benefit of hospital patients and staff
And a Christmas Tree will be provided for the Bradbury Day Centre.

Christmas Lunches will be prepared on the 24th then cooked and delivered on Christmas Day to the needy of Whitchurch.
Last year we provided 160 lunches
April
Rotary Stroke Awareness Day
Arrangements will be made for members of the public to have their blood pressure checked.
May
Rotary Concert for the Elderly & Disabled
About 400 people will attend on each evening to watch three hours of free entertainment provided voluntarily by local artists and some from slightly further a field.
Telephone Emergency Help Lines
Throughout the year this service will continue & be expanded.
Over 120 telephones are now installed in homes.
