Horse and Jocky The Horse & Jockey pub (left) is situated near the bottom of the locks, opposite D.A. Roberts garage and is well equipped to quench any travelers thirst or fill any hunger gap. It has just undergone extensive refurbishment and is greatly extended.
The Bluebell

The Blue Bell (above) is one and a quarter miles north on the A41 Chester road, it is very old (14th centaury), haunted and serves excellent beer and food. The TIMES Pubs of the year book 2000-1 says "most folk would kill to have this as their local" The pub has recently changed hands and is now in the very capable hands of Jerry and Ginette
