All the old concrete finish has been
removed from around the locks and a new brick finish installed,
with the roadway tarmacked and the new handrails all freshly painted
the lockside is an even more attractive site |
 
The @29 Cafe at the Lockside Stores is the
success story of this year in the village,
with all tables filled to capacity on any fine day!
Now boats queuing for the locks have a much more pleasant wait! |
