Visitors Welcome

We meet in the Dodington Lodge Hotel every 1st & 3rd Tuesday evening at 6:30pm for Dinner, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 12:45pm for lunch, and if there's a 5th Tuesday, we meet at 7:00am for Breakfast. Visitors are welcome.

PRESIDENT, 1982/83
W. BILL GROSSET

Born in Gravesend and educated at Malvern and in Hertfordshire, before pursuing his law studies at Kings College, London, where he graduated LL.B., and B.A. Military service occupied six years, commissioned in the Royal Artillery then four years in the Air Force, serving in Hongkong and London. After working in London, he came to Whitchurch in 1967 to join Norman Rushton (President 1960/61), in the law practice in Green End. He retired in 1998. In Rotary, he was secretary for 8 years and his particular involvement has been in youth exchange arranging the hosting of young overseas students, and also in crewing and organising the annual canal trips for disabled local children. His main interests include walking, gardening, beer making, golf and enjoying his canal boat.
Joined Rotary 25/11/1969, Wife President Inner Wheel, 1994/95; secretary 1982/85, 1992/94.
