Visitors Welcome

We meet in the Dodington Lodge Hotel every 1st & 3rd Tuesday evening at 6:30pm for Dinner, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 12:45pm for lunch, and if there's a 5th Tuesday, we meet at 7:00am for Breakfast. Visitors are welcome.

PRESIDENT 1940/42
R.E.S. TUCKEY, MRCVS,

a veterinary surgeon succeeded Albert Eccleston as president in 1940. He came to Whitchurch in 1926 taking over the St. Mary's Street practice of Captain Barnbridge. He saw active service in World War 1 in France and India attaining the rank of captain. He was a member of the Whitchurch UDC, resigning in the 1950's over the one way traffic issue. He retired in 1961; died aged 74 on 18 March 1971. His wife was Inner Wheel President in 1944/45. He was a Founder Member
