Visitors Welcome

We meet in the Dodington Lodge Hotel every 1st & 3rd Tuesday evening at 6:30pm for Dinner, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 12:45pm for lunch, and if there's a 5th Tuesday, we meet at 7:00am for Breakfast. Visitors are welcome.

JOHN MITCHELL

John was born in Whitchurch, and educated at Whitchurch Grammar School. He farmed all his life on the family farm at Malpas until his retirement. He is a former Chairman of Malpas Branch of the NFU, was the Cheshire delegate to the Meat & Livestock Commission Midland Liaison Committe, North West Regional Delegate to two NFU National Committees, was Cheshire County Chairman, and a member of Cheshire County Council Sustainable Cheshire Forum - Water.

His other interests include Treasurer, Whitchurch Probus Club, Past Treasurer Malpas Bishop Heber High Scool PTA, Past Chairman and Treasurer Malpas Alport Primary School PTA, Chairman of Malpas Supper Club, Joint secretary with Ann his wife of the Malpas Senior Citizens' Bowling League, and helps to maintain the grounds at Chester Road Bowling Club.

In Rotary is a former International Chairman, Tree of Light Organiser, Organiser of Club's Bowling Team, publishes Clubs members' address book and produces publicity material for events. He joined Rotary 13/6/2000. Wife President Inner Wheel 2004/5; secretary 2003/4
