Visitors Welcome

We meet in the Dodington Lodge Hotel every 1st & 3rd Tuesday evening at 6:30pm for Dinner, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 12:45pm for lunch, and if there's a 5th Tuesday, we meet at 7:00am for Breakfast. Visitors are welcome.

PRESIDENT 1942/44
E.J. BAILEY

Alkington Road, Whitchurch, cousin of Albert Eccleston, was president in 1942. He founded the business of E J. Bailey, grocer and baker, High Street, Whitchurch, now Etzios restaurant, in 1905. He was a member of the
Whitchurch Urban District Council from 1931 to 1945, chairman in 1945, a lay preacher on the Methodist circuit, member of Chester Road Bowling and Tennis club and of Prees Heath Golf club and president of the Chamber of Trade. His son, Harold, was surveyor to Nantwich UDC. Died 18 October, 1945, aged 71 years.
