Visitors Welcome

We meet in the Dodington Lodge Hotel every 1st & 3rd Tuesday evening at 6:30pm for Dinner, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 12:45pm for lunch, and if there's a 5th Tuesday, we meet at 7:00am for Breakfast. Visitors are welcome.

PRESIDENT 1964/65
CHARLES W. ROBERTSON


Born in Chester he pursued a career in the printing trade and was a student at the London College of Printing prior to the war. After service in the RAF. He acquired the old established Whitchurch printing company of Wilfred Horton and established the Salopian Modern Press at the Bull Ring. This business was sold to Herald Printers in 1976. Keenly interested in choral singing from the age of eight when he joined his first choir, he sang in the St. Alkmund's choir until the age of 84 and was also in the Whitchurch Choral Society, He was local secretary for SSAFA and a prominent Freemason for over 50 years.
Joined Rotary 1/1/51. Died 11/10/04, aged 90 years. Wife Inner Wheel President 1964/65; secretary 1970/73.
