Visitors Welcome

We meet in the Dodington Lodge Hotel every 1st & 3rd Tuesday evening at 6:30pm for Dinner, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 12:45pm for lunch, and if there's a 5th Tuesday, we meet at 7:00am for Breakfast. Visitors are welcome.

PRESIDENT 1946-7
Rev W.J. BALDWIN

an unusual mixture of priest and farmer. A native of Cardiff he was ordained into the Methodist ministry, serving in various parishes but retired from active ministry in 1937 from Urmston, Manchester, to take over Elm House Farm, Burleydam, on the death of his father in law. He proved extremely successful in this occupation, although still continuing to preach on the circuit. He was chairman of the Cheshire National Farmers Union in 1948, a committee member of the Milk Marketing Board and a Cheshire County Councillor. He died on 2 November 1951, aged 58 years.
