Visitors Welcome

We meet in the Dodington Lodge Hotel every 1st & 3rd Tuesday evening at 6:30pm for Dinner, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 12:45pm for lunch, and if there's a 5th Tuesday, we meet at 7:00am for Breakfast. Visitors are welcome.

PRESIDENT 1995/96
RAY TWISS

Educated at Broughall secondary modern, left school to join the London Midland and Scottish railway at Whitchurch, initially as a fireman and then to train as a driver. An accident at work meant that my career as a driver was over and I moved to Salopia Saloon coaches, from where I drove tours all over the UK. I then moved to Smith's foundry, and finally, with his wife Joan, took over the newsagents and confectioners shop in Mill Street, known locally as Bowens. Chairman of Whitchurch Chamber of Commerce for two years and became a member of Whitchurch Town Council, Special Constable in Whitchurch Police for ten years and was instrumental in the setting up of the Queensway Playing Fields Association, which worked towards the creation of the recreational area on the Queensway estate.
In Rotary, has been Community Service Chairman, Vocational Chairman, and Club Service Chairman
