PRESIDENT 2000-01
PETER WILLIAMS

Born one of twins at the Clifton House Nursing Home in Whitchurch; His twin sister is three minutes older than him, thus making hime the baby of the family! Peter was educated at Whitchurch Infants, Junior and Secondary Schools. Upon leaving school he joined the family House Furnishing business of Hatton & Williams, recently closed.
He was president in the year that we moved our meetings to the Terrick Hall Hotel.
to The Terrick Hall Hotel.
He has served on most committee's but his main responsibility in Rotary is in organising the Rotary Annual Holiday to Blackpool, for over 12 years.
Transport manager is another of my unofficial jobs within the club, and I have been involved in transporting my fellow Rotarians to the starting points of various Charity Walks and Cycle Rides. I act as Fellowship Officer and try to encourage fellowship within the wider circle of Rotary in particular encouraging attendance at District conferences.
Outside Rotary, Peter enjoys Crown Green Bowls and Captain a team in Whitchurch League, also he plays golf. He enjoys walking and cycling but these last two activities are usually fundraising efforts for Rotary Charities or the British Heart Foundation. The RNLI is another charity that I support and it was the one he chose during his year as President. He was elected Paul Harris Fellow in 2007. Wife Inner Wheel President 2005/6, treasurer 2002/3
