Visitors Welcome

We meet in the Dodington Lodge Hotel every 1st & 3rd Tuesday evening at 6:30pm for Dinner, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 12:45pm for lunch, and if there's a 5th Tuesday, we meet at 7:00am for Breakfast. Visitors are welcome.

PRESIDENT 1948/49.
JOHN D. PATRICK,

He worked for the National Provincial Bank for 42 years, coming to Whitchurch as Manager from Newport in 1934, retiring in November 1945. Educated at Sefton Park Grammar School, Liverpool. Served in the trenches during World War I, was gassed in 1918 and demobbed in 1919, when he resumed his banking career. Platoon commander in Home Guard from 1940 till disbandment. Helped Albert Eccleston found the Whitchurch Rotary club being involved with a lot of the early correspondence, founder treasurer 1938/45 with his wife, Agnes, treasurer of the Inner Wheel 1939 to 1945. He died in June, 1951, aged 64 years.
