Visitors Welcome

We meet in the Dodington Lodge Hotel every 1st & 3rd Tuesday evening at 6:30pm for Dinner, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 12:45pm for lunch, and if there's a 5th Tuesday, we meet at 7:00am for Breakfast. Visitors are welcome.

PRESIDENT 2002/03
M. GREG. WATSON

Born at Wigston Fields, Leicester, he commenced his working life in the Civil Service in 1961, then joined Lincolnshire Police in 1967 where he served as PC and then a sergeant. Transferred to West Mercia Constabulary in 1978 as an Inspector, stationed at Whitchurch where he spent the majority of his career. He retired in October 1997 and then joined Rotary and says he 'could not envisage ever not being a Rotarian.' On Rotary Club council, chairman of community and Vocational; member of District Management Services and at present the club's Protection officer and District Protection Officer, and a near ever presence on the Christmas Float. Assists with the installation and maintenance of the emergency telephones and annually crews one of the canal boats on the disabled trips. Past Chairman local Safety Scene, involved with many local committees, and as a Rotarian working one afternoon weekly at the junior school. Played Rugby for Whitchurch and umpires local junior cricket;__keen
runner - London Marathon and Great North Run. Other interests reading and caravanning but especially a Rotary golfer winning the Bellis trophy on four occasions. Recently elected District Governor.
Joined Rotary 25/11/1997. Wife President Inner Wheel 2002/03; treasurer 2000/08.
