Club Membership Services
This committee is mainly concerned with membership needs and issues, and the club's social activities. These include ladies evenings, theatre and other trips, charter, silver and golden jubilee celebrations, Shropshire Get togethers, coffee mornings and evenings, roving suppers, cheese and wine, barbecues, garden parties, pub nights, casino and stocks and shares evenings all of which, inevitably lead to a contribution to the charity funds, with a lot of fun involved en route.

Membership
Membership increased gradually throughout the years, achieving the mid thirties just before the 1945 war, and peaking in the millennium year, 1999-2000, with 12 new members - winning the district trophy for their achievements and in October 2008 there were 46 members plus six honorary members and our first lady member, Christine Meadley-Roberts.

In 1976 four club members Rotarians Len Bowen, George Harris, Ken Taylor and Jim Mitchell and their wives enjoyed a trip to South Africa arranged in the main by the Rotary club of Benoni Van Ryan, resulting in firm and long lasting friendships.
