Seasons Greetings from  The Rotary Club of Whitchurch and welcome to our Christmas Float page

Well the Christmas Float has been packed away for another year and Father Christmas has gone off to take a well earned rest before his big day. The Rotary Club of Whitchurch would like to express it's thanks to all those who so generously supported us over the last three weeks. You have contributed to a total just short of £6,500 and we have taken and posted on this web site over 1200 pictures. We trust you will all have a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Prosperous New Year.

Where does all the money go that you so generously give? Well each year we prepare, cook and deliver around 100 Christmas dinners to the elderly and infirm around the Whitchurch area (Click here for some pictures) and in May we provide, over a period of two nights, a concert for the elderly of the town and surrounding area, the concert, transport to and from it, interval drink and raffle are all free, all the artists, including stars who have appeared on television, give their time and energy for free so we can make the funds you so generously give go as far as possible!
